I decided to start a blog to document our life as newlyweds so that years from now we can look back and laugh (hopefully) at some of the things we did. Today actually marks the 7th month of marriage for us and it's been an awfully busy past 7 months. After we got married, I took my state boards for nursing (and passed!) and started my new job, we got a puppy in August (Bella), and we bought the house that we'd been renting (yes, Jordon at the lucky golden horseshoe as everyone says). I don't think things could be working out much better.

This is some of the front of our house. I haven't really gotten a complete shot yet. This was taken in April when we were starting the cleaning/painting process. So far so good with the house. I'm definately ready to get the tax credit money so we can do a little updating.

This picture is from a few months ago. My dad says she has "weird eyes," but I don't really see anything weird about them. Hhmm...don't know.

And the wedding...May 23, 2009. Well, somethings will never change...we ran in at the reception to "2001." We seriously had a blast. And the cake...oh my it was sooooo good!
